Eat Greens for Greater Health

Popeye was right: spinach does make you stronger and smarter, too. The National Institutes of Health conducted a study on people aged 58 to 99 years old and concluded that those who had at least one serving of leafy green vegetables a day experienced a slower rate of cognitive decline. That’s great news!

And all it takes is one serving a day. A salad with spinach as your base, and then you can add other yummy options like peppers, tomatoes, olives, and more. Or you can have a side of kale with your hot meal. Another choice is collard greens, which can be made into a delicious main hot dish.
